Bio for Jill Holbrook
Her love of the art has created a passion to learn and perfect her techniques. She is known for her fine and beautiful yarns as well as her knowledgeable style of teaching.
She offers 2 types of Classes and Workshops:
Jill has taught many workshops around the country from Maine to California including John C. Campbell Folk School and Fibre Week at Olds College, Alberta Canada. She is a regular teacher in such venues as the Arizona Federation of Weavers & Spinners Conferences, Southwest Regional Spinners Retreat and knitting and weaving shops throughout Arizona and co-owner of Brookmoore Creations.
She has also been published in PLY Magazine’s Spring 2016
In this issue Jill describes how she prepares cotton fiber for spinning and ultimately knitting. You can also see her pattern for knitting the Cotton Cactus Flower Shirt in that issue as well!
